Woody's Mom, Inc.
What makes us special as case managers

We Get It
Julia Simmons, the owner of Woody's Mom, is herself a mom of a child with complex medical needs. Several staff members also are parents of children with special needs. And while every child and every family is different, there is nothing like working with someone who has walked the walk.

Professional Caring Case Management

Our case managers are Registered Nurses or social workers who have experience working with medically fragile children. Our case managers are involved in the community and care about the families they serve.

Keeping you "In the Know"
We send email updates to our families to keep them abreast of changes to CAP and Medicaid, plus community activities and events that would be of interest to them.

Parent Handbook and Care Notebook
Our CAP/C Parent Handbook is an excellent reference guide to CAP/C services and helps you compile provide contact information in one place. The Care Notebook contains calendar and information pages, plus fill-in-the-blank telephone and directory pages to keep all your child's contact and medical information in one place.

Community Involvement

We're out there. Our staff is involved in state- and community-level committees and workgroups. We personally donate our time and expertise to a number of local groups who support children with complex medical needs. We attend professional development workshops and seminars to enhance our skills and better serve our clients. We're online and on social media to answer questions and help families navigate the system of healthcare and special needs services.

Case management isn't just our business.
It's our passion.
