What makes us special as case managers

Professional Caring Case Management
Our case managers are Registered Nurses or social workers who have experience working with medically fragile children. Our case managers are involved in the community and care about the families they serve.

Our Newsletter: "The Holland Life"
Our newsletter is chock full of great stuff for both parents and professionals. We feature stories about "our kids" written by their families, helpful tips for living with and loving a child with special needs, a Q&A forum, original articles written by our staff, and lots more. We'll email you a copy - just send a note to editor@woodysmom.org and ask for the latest edition.

Parent Handbook and Care Notebook
Our CAP/C Parent Handbook is an excellent reference guide to CAP/C services and helps you compile provide contact information in one place. The Care Notebook contains calendar and information pages, plus fill-in-the-blank telephone and directory pages to keep all your child's contact and medical information in one place.

Family Library
Ask your Case Manager if you are looking for specific titles or topics.

Community Involvement
We're out there. Our staff is involved in state- and community-level committees and workgroups. We personally donate our time and expertise to a number of local groups who support children with complex medical needs. We attend professional development workshops and seminars to enhance our skills and better serve our clients. We volunteer to help with fundraisers like The Tammy Lynn Center for Developmental Disabilities, Telability, and other local children's organizations. We lobby in Raleigh, speaking directly to your senators and representatives about the need for continued support for families and children.

Case management isn't just our business.
It's our passion.
